I’m Altaiyr from Kazakhstan, happy to be here, because I’m not only representing my school, but also my country and myself. This opportunity means more to me than just participation — it is a chance to grow, connect, and show what I can contribute. As I love to say \”bloom and grow\”
Tell us what the water concern in your country is!In Kazakhstan, water can be both a resource and a threat. Every spring, melting snow and sudden rainfall turn calm rivers into floods, affecting communities and infrastructure. This challenge reminds us that managing water is not only about supply, but also about protection.
From where comes your interest in water? My interest in water comes from seeing how something so ordinary can completely change people’s lives. In my country, floods are a recurring challenge, which made me curious about prevention, sustainability, and how innovation can help communities live more safely with nature.
This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:Creating practical innovations that solve real environmental challenges while making communities safer, smarter, and more prepared for the future.
