Amir Aronovich

Hello, my name is Amir Aronovich a graduate of ”HaKfar HaYarok” High School where I studied biology and physics. I am an economics student at Ariel University. I’ve also always loved to solve real-world problems via technology, with strong interests in economics, physics, and programming. I participated in Tel Aviv University’s summer programs in law, neuroscience, and social psychology. During the COVID-19 pandemic in the eighth grade, I began developing an atmospheric water generation device—a project that has become my life’s focus. Outside academics, I trained in Capoeira, played tennis, and was active in the Scouts. I also enjoy music, fixing computers, and creating AI-based software, constantly expanding my technical expertise and problem-solving and entrepreneurial abilities.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

Israel faces a severe water crisis, with over one-third of the country desert and no accessible drinking sources. Vital supplies like the Sea of Galilee and aquifers are rapidly depleting. Despite desalination technology, innovative solutions such as atmospheric water generation are crucial for ensuring national water security.

This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:

Atmospheric water generation devices are the solution to our growing global water crisis. These revolutionary machines can extract clean drinking water directly from air, operating anywhere and anytime regardless of location or infrastructure. Unlike traditional water sources that are limited and depleting, atmospheric water generation provides unlimited, sustainable access to clean water in remote areas, disaster zones, and water-scarce regions worldwide, ensuring water security for all.
