I am a 17-year-old student who has recently completed my AS Level studies and will soon begin my A Levels. I have a strong passion for learning and a wide range of interests, particularly in aviation, scientific research, and innovation. I am always eager to challenge myself through academic and extracurricular opportunities that allow me to develop new skills and contribute to meaningful projects. Employing Active Carbon in Biomass Filtering to Treat Heavy Metal Contamination in Untreated Wastewater Used for Irrigation: A Case Study of Nablus City and Al-Nassariya Village, Palestine
This research investigates the presence of heavy metals that cause contamination in untreated wastewater that is used for crop irrigation in Al-Nassariya, Jeftlek, and Jordan Valley, in the main breadbasket farming area, northeast of Nablus city in the West Bank, Palestine. The valley is considered the main source of fruits, vegetables, and grains for the people of Nablus, because of its heavy production for the local market. This makes the water quality in this area a direct concern for public health and food safety.
